Act for Justice

think

‘The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.’
- (James 5:16 b)

Across the world millions of enslaved people are crying out. They cry themselves to sleep and many pray through bitter tears that if God exists, he will rescue them. These people are alone, abandoned and abused, yet still they cling onto hope that someone will answer them. God hears the cry of these children, he sees every tear and his heart aches for them to be rescued and restored.

Prayer has the power to bring the change they long for. It reaches beyond every chain and across international borders. It can enter the darkest prison and bring comfort in the worst situation. The power of God released on the earth can touch every broken heart. Prayer can cause rulers and governments to move, it can release provision and salvation on the earth. Prayer is a supernatural weapon which can help us in the fight against trafficking and bring freedom to the victims.

act

This month the focus of Act for Justice Groups is prayer. It says in Matthew 18:19, ’ Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” Just imagine what the impact will be as hundreds of Act Groups across Europe join together for a week of focused prayer about trafficking.

Video BlogThis months Act e-shot comes with a 7 day prayer guide giving the background on issues and prayer points to get you started. The idea is that each Act for Justice Group organises a week of prayer and commit to praying each day using the guide. This means that hundreds of people in Act groups across the UK and beyond will be focusing their attention, their faith and agreement together and petitioning heaven for change. The prayer of righteous man surely does avail much and we are excited about what can happen this will have as we agree in faith together. Click here to download it now.

Update

There is so much happening in Hope For Justice at the moment, we are amazed at all God is doing. We now have a specialist investigator and a lawyer as part of our team. Already their skills, experience and passion for the cause are being used to put together projects which will change the lives of trafficking victims in the UK and beyond.

The Act for Justice Day is also fast approaching. If you haven’t already booked in, please do. It is going to be an incredible time of people joining together to become equipped for the fight.

I truly believe that this month as we pray and take action together we will be used to rescue many people and restore their hope for the future. Thank you for joining with us, believing with us and being part of a generation who will stand up for justice and pray for change.

Yours in Him

Ben Cooley
